Our S-Classic model offers superior build and master-grade wood and materials.
This model is based on the iconic models of the 50's and 60's, and features amazing playability and super light one-piece alder bodies. The neck is a C-shape neck with 9.5" radius, with tall and narrow highly-polished frets, and our trademark headstock.
These guitars were made to give you an extra-dry tone with great punch, and the sharp attack of an old and well-worn instrument.
A set of Macmull pickups, wound by hand, are matched to each guitar individually.
We made a lot of effort to make this model sound truly vintage from the moment you pick it up. Prototypes were tried on stage at live gigs, sound was studied, and adjustments made, until the that perfect “old-school” feel was achieved. Now we are delivering that perfect sound to you!

Most will not admit, but we truly believe that lighter wood is better sounding wood: more resonance, vibration, sharper attack, and perfect EQ right out of the box.
we had to search for the lightest Alder and Ash pieces. These are very risky to work with, since they are both very expensive and very dry. How light? Well, we did something never done before - we use weight categories and weight limits. The lighter it is, the pricier it is; you can choose the right guitar for your needs and your budget.
We set 2 weight groups: light and super-light.
In the light group, you will not find a guitar weighing more than 3.45kg (7.60lbs)
For the super-light group, we are offering an amazing 3.25kg (7.16lbs) limit.
All our guitar bodies are non-weight-relieved and made from Alder or Ash (old and kiln-dried).
** Our costumers can choose between a "classic" two piece body or the sonicly rich one piece body. our staff can help you decide which one is right for you.
All necks are made from premium-grade Maple. We select the Straight-grained and whiter pieces which we prefer for their sonic advantages.
rift sawn maple is recommended for its mellower vibe and vintage texture. Although, quarter swan is also an option.
Each neck is reinforced with a retro-style single-action truss rod, just like they used to make them in the 50s. Most manufacturers use the double-action truss rod, even on vintage replicas. We found out that a single truss rod will give you a better neck-body resonance, and you'll be able to feel that difference playing the S-Classic unplugged.
The original and unique style of the headstock of the Macmull guitars is a real gem: a straight-line design that fits the simple, classic mojo with a retro look resembling an acoustic guitar headstock from the 30’s.
Vintage tuners with white plastic buttons and a silk-printed logo blend into a classic and elegant design.
We use Madagascar Rosewood boards that were cut in the 50s, and waited 60 years just to be on the Heartbreaker neck. Super light, dried, and beautifully grained, these are a top choice for us over any other fingerboard material.
Finger Board radius is 9.5” for comfort.
Rolled edges for vintage feel and comfort.
Dunlop 6105 frets, extra polished and rolled to perfection.
These guitars were made to give you an extra dry tone with great punch and the sharp attack of an old worn and played instrument.
A set of Macmull pickups, wound by hand, is matched to each guitar individually.
We decided to go with the Alnico 3 magnets to get that flat EQ sound they are famous for.
Alnico 3 magnets are not as strong as the Alnico 2 and 5, and the result is a very unique-sounding pickup that will take you to that midrange era of tone.
All Macmull guitars come with CTS pots (highest grade), Paper-In-Oil Caps are standard in all of our guitars.
We are very proud of our electronic assembly. We use only the highest-grade pots and caps, and push back cloth wire, making our electronic assembly pretty on the eyes and the ears.
Pure nitrocellulose lacquer is one of the key factors for tone. Pure nitro takes more time to dry and is harder to work with, but when it comes to sound we will not compromise. Available in all vintage colors from the 50s and 60s.
